Background

This strategy looks to make sure all community members have the information, resources, and support they need to stay safe and healthy. This includes resilience centers, outreach and education, and neighborhood networks that strengthen social connections during emergencies.

Progress Update

Partners, especially at Washington County, have ongoing programs and education to help community members prepare for and cope with local climate impacts.
The City of Beaverton lacks the capacity and funding, especially in Emergency Management, to earnestly work on this strategy at this time but hopes to do more work in a later phase.
